A "stay up late to finish" type of book. I loved the characters.
What a treasure! The characters, plot & sub-plot were so well written, with (finally!) a heroine who acts intelligently and is open & honest with the hero. I highly recommend this book, BUT... warning! You will become addicted to the authors.
The story is Heart Rendering, Emotional and will have you on the edge. The slow burn romance between Samuel The Earl of Stanmore and Rebecca Neville was beautifully written.
Unique plot, well-developed and likeable characters, except the villains, of course. I was so engrossed in the story, that I stayed up all night to finish the book. I am going on to the next book, The Rebel. I have high hopes it will be just as good as this one. I highly recommend this husband/wife authorship. They get it right!
