Description
Henry is an artist. A lonely artist, whose dim prospects for romance are kindled when Elise, a beautiful oboist, moves into the house across the street from him. Talking with her, going surreptitiously to her performances and listening to her practice quickly become the focal points of his life.
As Henry becomes more and more enamored of Elise, he realizes he needs to come to terms with his obsession, and either gamble their burgeoning friendship on a play for more, or accept what he has as being enough. An eloquent 5,200-word narrative, "A Wind Doth Blow" is a marvelously entertaining story.
