The second man nodded his head as he said, "I thought that we would be able to homestead in peace here. I never would have dreamed that this place was hell on earth." The sheriff said, "You've got us all wrong, my friends. This is a peaceful valley. We live in harmony and work together for the betterment of the community. But its outlaws like the gang leader who sheds a long shadow on our fertile land. I can't pay you none. I'm forming up a posse right now to track and trap that varmint and his ruthless gang. Will you help us to eradicate him and his gang from here forever?" "Count us in," said the first man before he ever thought to ask his brother or their wives.
