Reviews:
When I read the book you wrote Gill, the surrounding got a complete other dimension for me. I went back in time. I can imagine you get so affected to this area. I was emotional when I had to leave Sambro. Thank you for let us be in your property. Every day I have a moment I must think of Sambro.
Sorry for my bad English writing!
Sincerly greetings

This book was fun and easy to read. The characters were very well written and very easy to picture lol... having ancestral roots in Portugal and also having had the pleasure of visiting there as a child I really do recall the chickens in the front yard and the very friendly and loud neighbours :-)
One does not have to be familiar with Portugal to enjoy this book. I would recommend it to others as a short light hearted read.
