Description

The greatest cover-up in American history is shockingly revealed. On August 10, 1945, after atomic bombs had destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the American B-29 Lucky Strike took off to drop a third atomic bomb on Kyoto, Japan. The plane never reached the target city but disappeared without a trace. All the records of the mission were obliterated. Now, as the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings approaches, B-29 Lucky Strike reappears and attacks a great American landmark. The Bushido Element, an ancient, covert group of Japanese militants has taken responsibility and threatens to further avenge Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons they have secretly developed. Takamori Rashima, a dying billionaire industrialist, is the Bushido Element's mastermind. He has never forgotten or forgiven the United States for the mass atomic bomb murder of innocent non-combatants. His great nephew Saburo Rashima, a modern day product of Japan's samurai past, crafts the tactics to execute the terrorism. Garret Wakefield, a Pentagon operative on Asia is sent to Japan to find Robert Cody, a radical Jesuit Priest. As a United States Air Force officer in 1945, while investigating the disappearance of Lucky Strike, Cody had an ill-fated romantic affair that led him to the perilous edges of the Bushido Element. Wakefield believes Cody can direct him to the illusive and dangerous Bushido. In this shocking fast-paced story, while the clock ticks towards the nuclear destruction of an American city, the Bushido Element forces the United States to face the accusation that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were crimes against humanity.
