Description

Joe Grabarz is the private detective people go to when they can't afford anyone else.

But when a disfigured body washes up on Brighton beach, Joe is the only one who can identify it. Even with the face burnt and fingertips removed, he recognises his best friend.

They were inseparable as children, but they fell out ten years ago. How could his life have ended like this?

Getting answers will mean exposing local corruption, navigating the city's dirty underbelly of legal highs, going up against powerful criminals, and facing up to his past.

Solving this murder could cost him his life.
