Artos went out on a hunting trip and by the time he came back, the world had changed.

The 10-year war he and his brother had waged against a tyrant race had only been the beginning. After all, their enemies had been just men.

Word travelled south that a small village had been raided, something unusual but not unheard of since the end of the war. Still, nothing could have prepared Artos for what he found there once he raced to investigate.
