The story is about a small Elephant named Lily.

She lives in the forest with her adoptive mother, Aunt Cecil. She lost her biological mother to poachers. Aunt Cecil has no calf of her own.

Lily was a handful little Elephant, so the Matriarch Martha and her Aunt took turns babysitting her.
