The recently discovered Metman planet, is home to a race of beings who raise and herd. a primitive breed of Saurians. They manage this by integrating themselves into large mechanical bodies.
What they don't know, is that their new "friends", in the form of small grey people, are only after their unbelievable storehouse of frozen embryos and DNA. A storage this large, would keep the Maggots going for millennia.
Jim and Fafnir know what could happen however, and for this reason, the decision is made to interfere. The problem, is just how to interfere in such a way that these people make their own choices. And if they make the wrong choice, can Jim interfere with more influence?
