The Blacklick creek valley is not only located in one of the most beautiful parts of Pennsylvania it is also home to one of the most haunted. Spanning a total area of 36 miles, the Blacklick valley natural area rail trail runs along disused railroad tracks, and rests along abandoned blast furnaces, and several ghost towns... One of the greatest paranormal mysteries that the state of Arkansas has had the pleasure of owning is the unexplained Gurdon light that appears virtually out of nowhere on their nearby train tracks. The mysterious and bone chilling phenomena can be seen all year round if you take the time to hike to the remote location, and wait patiently. Local resident, Mark Evans claims to have seen the Gurdon light on many occasions, especially on extremely dark nights when it is overcast. Running from the light does not stop it's existence. It will merely show up behind you or follow you until you pause and take notice. Then it simply disappears... In Randolph, Maine, a walking path leading deep into the forest has taken the place of where old railroad tracks would have once been a prominent fixture that once wound through the haunted forest. A sparkling stream runs along the path and is often the focal point at night where orbs are most often witnessed floating around in the woods, just above the water in mid-air.
