'What starts as a romantic trip into Canadian wilderness of a newly we couple turns into a nightmare. I like the form of the novella as it is told in letters. The part when Liam starts his investigations is also very good. You wouldn't have expected Johnson to be what he is. I was really surprised about this quick and fascinating to read novella. Extremely eerie atmosphere that keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat. Okay, there remain some questions unanswered but to be honest, do you really want to know all the details? Here your imagination runs wild and that's why I clearly recommend this book!'
Goodreads Review
'The epistolary style employed in this novel can be cumbersome, but the author manages to use it with brevity to evoke that sense of unease when you know something's not quite right long before the characters do. Fans of classic stories like "Dracula" will appreciate the dedication to voice. Very creepy.'
Goodreads Review
'This was a great little horror novella. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but not every story needs to be something new and never seen before. This stuck to the script of horror stories and did it justice. Well written and eerie, I recommend this one to fans of the genre. Read alone and in the dark for maximum enjoyment.'
Goodreads Review
For fans of Dracula and Frankenstein. St Aymon is a short epistolary horror story.
