Janie is a hunter. She scours the dangerous wastelands that now cover the earth, taking anything she finds home to the safety of the tunnels and caverns of Hope. She travels to a far away outpost with two other hunters but something goes wrong and Janie finds herself exiled.

There's nothing in the Plains, she can't endure the fierce desert heat for long. The only way she can survive is to find a new home in the old city, and avoid the scavengers, mutants and cannibals that live there.
