In 2011 I commenced my nurse training, whilst looking after my terminally ill brother Micheal. As a student nurse, I cared for patients with a range of conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Through my journey as a student nurse, I strived to provide the best care for my patients, whilst also making sure my brother achieved all he wanted in his final days.
When my brother passed away, I had to make the ultimate decision, to continue as a student nurse, or to achieve my acting dream. It was then that I discovered letters my brother had written before he passed away, which helped to shape my future path.
