Description

Do you ever feel disconnected from your children, even when you are playing in the same room with them? Maybe you just don't feel like you are maximizing your time with them.

Alive in Play: Maximize Their Childhood and Reenergize Your Motherhood through Interactive Play Activities will thoroughly guide you and your children through a variety of imaginative, hands-on adventures -- all while staying in your own home! Written for moms of young children, this book shows you how simple playtime can both teach children crucial development skills and help reenergize your own motherhood experience.

This is a book about being present with our children and teaching them skills that will help them for the rest of their lives. It has the intent of heightening imaginative play, developing our children's empathy, and enhancing their social skills. Alive in Play is about why communicating with your children in their very own language of play can support your authentic and loving relationship lifelong. Mostly, it offers ways caretakers can actually meet up with their children and share their exuberant energy instead of being depleted by it.

This book helps moms realize that being "alive in play" with your children can be your greatest motherhood legacy. Activities include: ? Hunting for exotic treasure... ? Traveling to imaginary surprise lands... ? Celebrating at a pretend birthday party... ? Having an exuberant parade... ? And so many more!
