Description
A meth epidemic hits the high school! And dogs are disappearing all over the county!
A letter to the advice column Angie Kramer writes pulls her into police efforts to track down the drug dealers. When the letter writer and his wife die in a house fire, the case turns deadly. Angie is warned to stay out of it, but her reporter instincts take over.
At the same time, she's worried about the missing dogs, especially because she's still caring for the five puppies that her big dog, Bernie, fathered and were left on her doorstep. Someone is stealing dogs and the police are too busy with the drug problem to pay attention. Angie organizes a volunteer group to find the dog-nappers... and the dogs. One of the teen volunteers goes missing, after leaving a voicemail for Angie. The FBI is called in and issues an Amber Alert for the girl. But Angie feels responsible for the girl's disappearance and goes off on her own to try to find her. That doesn't go well.
