Description
Cape Pearl: a beach town home to the wealthy and the privileged. It's also home to the Osbornes. The family I'll spend the summer with in my new role as housekeeper. A job that pays so well, only an idiot would say no. So I'll grit my teeth and bear it, because my plan is to own my own car and hold my own money.
My plan is to serve my time and reap the rewards. My plan wasn't to get tangled up with not one, but two, of the three Osborne sons.
Falcon Osborne, nineteen years old and the oldest Osborne brother, said he could help me if I returned the favor. Because while I'm not a complicated girl, there is one other thing I want from life: Garrett Jardine. The ex who dumped me and made it impossible for me to get over him.
According to Falcon, all it'll take to turn Garrett's head is to be seen with him. Besides, Falcon's using me, too. He has his own agenda and we are both clear on where we stand. Our public displays of affection are for our greedy audience and no one else. Behind closed doors, I'm just an employee and we'll barely say two words to each other.
We won't blur the lines -- we wouldn't. We both want other people. But I'm over a month shy of my seventeenth birthday and Falcon tells me he can show me some things. Things that will guarantee Garrett won't ever get bored with me.
And since every move Falcon and I make is entirely for show -- our greater cause -- Clayton 'Oz' Osborne, the dark and brooding middle brother, somehow worms his way into my life and, occasionally, my bed.
Before I realize what's happened or can do anything to stop it, my summer is spiraling horribly out of control and I no longer recognize who I can trust in the Osborne household.
