When casino host Randy Kennedy is found crouched over the dead wife of one of Las Vegas's high-rollers, he flees the scene, pursued by not only the cops but the dead woman's mobster husband. Randy seeks sanctuary at the home of Angela Grisham, who he knows he can trust, even if she has had the poor taste to spurn his romantic advances. When a second homicide takes the life of a wealthy casino mogul, Randy, again at the wrong place and time, becomes the main suspect.
