A travel guide for your spirit

I take little journeys to what I like to call "spiritual places." It's not that God is hard to find, or that He needs us to seek Him in certain places. God is always with us and waits for us to communicate with Him at any time, any place.

What I have discovered and want to share with readers is that any place we go -- church, an art museum, a hiking trail, a business trip -- can be a spiritual place. We just need to be ready for those encounters with the Father. When we decide to be quiet, listen, and open our hearts in these places, we will hear His voice, perhaps through a guardian angel, a spiritual advisor, priest, or pastor, or by reading the Bible.

In the book of Luke, chapter 15, the father is ready and waiting to welcome back his prodigal son, even when that son is still a long way off. God is like that father. He doesn't prefer any special meeting places, but meets us where we are. It's up to us to find the spiritual places in our lives.
