Description
I Wrote This For You is a book chalked full of poems that show the basics of love, nature, beauty and peace in metaphoric form. From all the poetic devices to the basic flow of poems, this book has it all. The book overall is very inspiring and it encourages the reader to read through the poet's eyes.
It has poems from classic tunes to modern styles, with lots of great poems, that give an example about the title of the book in a real sense, because the author had you in mind.
Each figurative device in I wrote this for you teach others more deeply about the different phases of life and how to respond to life in general from the heart of peace, love and resilience because just a line will heal the heart.
What stood out about the book was how the poet ( Steve Anc) waved each poem with his metaphoric fist and amazing style with an almost obsessive amount of rhyming.
Reviews
The first poem that caught my attention was: "Nothing lasts forever." This poem makes you realize stuff and people flow through your life. Nothing is here for long. "A smiling day. A smile brightens everyone's day. You can feel the person is at ease with themselves and the world. They are happy to be around. Embrace their positive energy for yourself. "The hill." This poem helps to remind us there is a voice that speaks to everything constantly. I have been waiting on that hill many times where it is quiet and I can rest my soul to hear from my Creator. You can join me if you want to. "If money comes." Poetry is an emotional state from which man tries to run from. It reveals his flaws, scars, and beauty. Nothing is hidden. It is difficult to comprehend and to pen down. But some of us keep trying. I enjoy reading the author's poems. They help me to think about stuff in a new light. I highly recommend a person to read these poems.
