The Reluctant Country Boy Vol.1 is a series of anecdotes and 'scream of consciousness' thoughts published on various social media platforms between January 2021 and March 2022 or thereabouts.
These snippets of wisdom range from my memories growing up in a small village during the eighties to surreal off- the-cuff, every day thoughts about life in general.
My advice would be to open it randomly and then read for ten minutes then go and do something else.
Or read it on the loo. Yes, keep a copy in the bathroom and let your guests pick it up while having a lovely long sit down visit. You might be better off buying another copy for yourself though because it's bound to get nicked.
If I came across this book I'd definitely have it away.
