Description
"... humorous... " and "... a fun and accessible story for teaching young readers about gratitude and privilege."
- The Children's Book Review
Squeaks is a tire who does not appreciate his privileged life. He and his family live on a fancy car and have a very good life. However, Squeaks always seems to find something to complain about. He complains so much that his owner eventually sends him to the junkyard. There, he meets many tires who have harder lives than him, but still manage to find the good in every day. He meets Nailey, Melty, Flat Boy, and Spike. He realizes that his life is pretty good, and that he has a lot to be grateful for. He eventually gets recycled into a playground surface. In his new life, he is happy and grateful, and does not complain ever again.
Ideal for children aged 4-8. All (100%) royalties go directly to BC Children's Hospital.
