MEET FALCONER
William Falconer is a Regent Master of Aristotle's Hall at the University of Oxford. Book 6: FALCONER AND THE RITUAL OF DEATH

1272. Falconer is arrested and charged with the murder of Lady Segrim, with whom he once had a close relationship. It's up to Thomas Symon, one of Falconer's former pupils, to clear Falconer's name and help solve the crime.

1273. Falconer and Thomas Symon set out for Paris after receiving a cryptic message from Friar Roger Bacon. But King Edward of England has also arrived in France with a task for Falconer that will test his legendary powers of detection.
