Description
Yesterday Damien Attica massacred a trailer park full of sex offenders. Today he's on his hypnotherapist's couch, reliving his past life as "Demián," a homeless Gulf War veteran in 1992. Demián juggles for the children of his local Catholic church in Albuquerque, making a meager living as a street performer. When one of these children is violated, those responsible will do anything to stop Demián from exposing them.
Bad idea.
During long nights alone in the veterans shelter, Demián dreams. They are of his first life, centuries earlier in ancient Greece. He's an angry, vengeful boy banished from the Temple of Orpheus, named for the prophet who sang to the birds and animals.
Demián also has a song to sing. It's a ballad of bloodshed for those who do the innocent harm. He is the Orphic Assassin reborn.
