Description
Angel
I spent years on the run, constantly fearing that the man who wanted me dead would find me. I lived in places I'd never been, squatting in vacant homes and buildings. I suffered through fear and anxiety. Changed my appearance so many times that few could recognize me.
I had been lonely too long. When I met Nash there was an instant physical attraction. But his playful, adventurous and protective personality was what did me in... especially when he indulged my bizarre existence.
When my siblings air our family's dirty laundry on a reality series, I realize Nash could figure out who I am, and understand the sweet little lies I told him weren't all made up. I don't want to hurt him, but honesty is not the best policy-at least not for me. Not if it could send me on the run when I've finally found something worth staying for.
Nash
Beautiful, confounding, evasive... I can't get enough of her.
We jokingly made up our pasts before we realized we had a future. Deep down, I knew beneath the sex and the games we'd become very real. But I ignored the signs, let her get away with the lies until she gave me the truth... and that I refuse to believe.
Sweet with some sizzle, funny, and outlandish... this is the love story of Nash and Angel.
Sweet Little Lies is a stand-alone novel in the Sweet Series, told in first person from both the male and female's point of view. The Sweet Series is written for those wanting a quick read between 150-200 pages that still has good character and relationship development. Every book in the series has a quirky abode, a rescued dog or kitty, a woman who is currently a train wreck or has been in the past, a fun loving guy who may or may not be the man of her dreams and a little bit of sizzle. Somewhat realistic, (so no billionaires), and endearing with a guaranteed happy ending. The Sweet Series is the perfect pick-me-up.
