Description
Allowing enthusiasm to get the better of him, a knucklehead opts to disembark from the Trans Siberian Express in Ulan Batar, Mongolia, in the middle of the Cold War with out a visa. Barely managing to evade imprisonment and extortion from the local officials, a series of unusual adventures unfold, which climax in a Mongolian Soirée on the eve of his departure.
Mongolian Soirée is the first of 24 short stories in a series which, in their entirety, will be entitled PRELUDES. They are actual accounts of my travels and the experiences that accompanied them, over several decades, primarily in the 1980s and 1990s.
